HearPeers is an online community of volunteer mentors who all live with a hearing loss. HearPeers mentors openly share their experiences and answer any questions from people who are considering undergoing an operation for a hearing implant, as well as those that have been newly implanted.
The HearPeers website allows people to contact a mentor who has already undergone a hearing implant procedure and understands the challenges and opportunities this may bring to everyday life.
The HearPeers website is supported by MED-EL, a leader in implantable hearing solutions, so you can also find useful information about hearing loss and hearing implants, including cochlear implants, middle ear implants, and bone conduction implants.
